I earned my BA in English from Assumption College in Worcester MA, and I completed my MA in English at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA; I also taught first year composition and literature classes at Duquesne as part of my responsibilities as a graduate assistant. For ten years after earning my MA, I taught English at the high school level. In 1987, I began in my current position as librarian at Xaverian Brothers High School, an all boys Catholic high school located just outside of Boston. Since 1998, I have served as an adjunct instructor of writing, literature, and professional communication at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. And since 2004, I have facilitated online classes in writing and literature at the University of Phoenix.
